YOGA

Growing up I led a very athletic lifestyle. I trained in gymnastics for over ten years and when I started high school I began cheerleading. After graduation, I found myself at a loss for a physical activity I was as passionate towards. Throughout my years of childhood, adolescence and to this present day my mother has been a die-hard fitness and aerobic advocate. I followed in her footsteps and loved how staying on a workout regime helped with all areas of life both physically and mentally. I started Yoga as a form of physical fitness but only did the Power Yoga Classes where I felt like I was getting a tough workout like aerobics and weight-lifting. When I started getting severely sick with an auto-immune condition working out was no longer an option for me. My body and mind became far to weak to survive what it was going through. After finally feeling a shift in health from the energy treatments I was receiving, I slowly got back into yoga. I was a you-tubing machine due to the lack of facilities in our home-town.

Yoga was a way to cope with stress and anxiety, a way to open my heart to healing, love, compassion, and an opportunity to learn how to connect to inner silence and peace. It has been a challenge, in a physical, mental and emotional level; an opportunity to stretch and bend in different ways, to sweat, release toxins, be present and realize life is happening now; a practice of surrendering, dropping my expectations, judgments; and be at peace. Yoga has shown me what’s really important to me and connects my body, breath, mind and soul to serve my higher self. While attending Yandara Yoga Teacher Institute, I was able to deepen my practice and knowledge with yoga, community, energy, and spirituality. They are all connected and complement each other beautifully. A personal practice is very important, but just as important is practicing among like-minded souls and knowledgeable teachers, that’s where the magic happens. I learned that my previous style of practice in yoga was very yang contributing to my imbalances in life. I got to experience yin yoga which I fell in love with, it forced me to be still for lengths of time, feel the sensations in my body and draw attention to my breath.

For me personally yin yoga is a time to process, to allow deep digestion, a time of surrender, immersed listening, submission to the divine intelligence in which I was fabricated, created however the magic chooses to restore, alchemize, harmonize, my systems. An invitation to leave the physical world and spend some quality time with every layer of my being, expressing however they need. Releasing old stale densities, decades of pain, and unconscious holding patterns. Allowing time for all the information I process every second of every day to receive this divine feminine medicine stimulating healing, clearing up space from my internal hard drives that become obstructed and cluttered. A time to give to Mother Earth what no longer serves me as she will recycle this energy for a better use. A time to just be. listen deep. chill. marinate in all that I am, and all that I am not.

YOGA CLASSES

I am so excited to start offering weekly yoga classes both online and in-person at my home-business and studio location . I've had the calling to do so and miss connecting with everyone through this beautiful medicine and art. As I've developed through my journey I will be providing knowledge and experience from my Advanced 500 Hour Yoga and Meditation Training, certification as a Reiki Master Teacher, Hypnotherapist, Advanced Intuitive Healer, Body Talk Practitioner, Spiritual Mentor, and Life Coach to round out the space created for everyone to heal. 

GROUP CLASSES IN-STUDIO

The in-studio classes will be held at our Studio location here in Estevan, 518 King Street. I(Stacey) will be leading the class along with my partner Johny assisting with postures, hands on healing, massage, and a guided yoga nidra ending with savasana. Registration will hold your space and commit you to your practice but Drop Ins will also be welcomed and encouraged. Our next In-Studio Group Session will begin July 10th with a 75 minute Yin Yoga Class starting at 6:45pm, "Yin Yoga & You: A Journey of Self-Discovery" and a 45 minute Meditation Class starting at 8:15pm, "Introduction to Meditation - Cultivating Peace". Yin Yoga can be seen as a methodological approach to the restoration of the fullest potential of ourselves as human beings. Our Yin practice is a journey of self-discovery, a systematic pathway to an awakened sense of aliveness. With a focus on health and well being, we yearn to reach a space of ease and lightness in our bodies, which originates from a place of flexibility, agility and suppleness of the joints. Moving through a sequence of Yin Yoga postures is an invitation to gently stretch and mindfully rehabilitate the connective tissue that surround the joints in our body. Because the connective tissues in our bodies are constantly adapting to the stresses put upon them by our day to day activities and lifestyle, Yin Yoga can be seen as a complimentary practice to the more intensive workouts and exercise that we may be doing.

A naturally hyper, over-active brain is not well-suited to modern life and can easily turn into an anxious mind. If you want to overcome anxiety/stress without medication, mindfulness meditation is a proven way to reduce anxiety and stress and improve your overall well-being. An over-active mind cause the fear center of your brain, the amygdala, to grow larger and more reactive leading to a vicious cycle of more stress, worry, and anxiety. If you feel like your brain is running on a hamster wheel of “what ifs” and worries, you’ve probably wondered if there was a drug-free solution. The answer may be as simple as mindfulness meditation. Even if you’ve never meditated before, you can start retraining your brain to be less anxious starting today.

  • Monday "Me" Time: Yin Yoga & You & Introduction to Meditation Class Combination

Make Monday's your "me" time as you start the week off taking the time to replenish, recharge, and re-calibrate. If we fill up our cup first allowing self to receive we can respond to our day to day and following week with much more patience, grace, ease, and understanding as we've allowed the time for self to fill up and balance.

Meditation and Yin Yoga are complimentary mindfulness practices that foster awareness, self exploration, mind-body connection, intuition development etc. Explore yin yoga postures that relax and energize your body, detox trauma in the joints, ligaments, connective tissue, fascia, find greater range of motion/flexibility, reduce cortisol built up, increase hydration, clearing out lifetimes of suppressed emotions. followed by step-by-step meditation guidance to meet your body, mind, and emotions with curiosity, skill, and gentleness.  I believe in empowering and guiding the individual to build their connection with the mind-body and higher-self as we are our own greatest healer, yoga teacher, fortune teller, philosopher, best friend, and most intelligent source of what we need. The awareness of this connection needs practicing and is the key ingredient to our experience as human beings I teach this in whatever session/workshop/class I am giving; reiki, yoga, hypnosis, coaching, mentoring etc.

PRIVATE YOGA WITH REIKI HEALING

Yoga will balance the mind, body, and spirit opening the meridian energy lines that feed the 7 main chakras  of our body releasing toxins from physical, emotional, or psychological trauma. Increases range of motion and flexibility while physically lengthening and stretching the connective tissue, ligaments, muscles, and joints.  Reiki relaxes the mind, reduces stress and tension and generates a deep and gentle healing of the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual body. The session is intuitively designed to meet the individual’s needs and may include Talk Therapy, Guided Imagery/Meditation, Inner Child work, Crystal, Sound, Aroma and/or Color therapy, Chakra Reflexology. All Reiki sessions include a Chakra Reading, Chakra Balancing and Spiritual Counsel. 90 minute session; 60 minutes of Yoga catered to your specific expectations, followed by 30 minutes of Therapeutic Integrated Energy healing. Enjoy this practice in the studio or online via skype/facetime.
